The proceeds from the tickets you purchased for this evening’s fabulous Masquerade will be used to provide funds for The Carolina Copy Cats June McDuffee Scholarship Fund at Winthrop University! Incoming Freshmen will be awarded these scholarships for their major in Theater and Dance….thank you for joining the Carolina Copy Cats in providing the students with these scholarships!
Small rest for us and back to making new costumes, learning new choreography, and planning vintage music numbers.
By the way, all our props for the shows are made by the Copy Cats themselves.
Our Copy Cats helpers (we call them the pack mules) load all equipment, costumes, and props to the show early and do the setup which is a big help.
The Carolina Copy Cats choreography is done by many of our performers. Jo Remmey has done a big portion of our numbers.
Copy Cats that have a special number they love will do their own choreography.
We did about 30 shows in 2022. We are hoping we can bring a few smiles and a laugh or two with another 30 shows.
Our 3 top Cats getting things together are LEA WHITE ordering materials, cutting and designing our new costumes; JO REMMEY Choreographing a few new numbers and booking new shows; and TEDDI PETERS getting all our music together and sending out to each of the copy cats so we can be ready to share with our senior citizens to provide entertainment and take them back in time to when Rock and Roll was king.
The Carolina Copycats is a fun-loving group devoted to providing entertainment primarily for places like senior living communities, skilled care facilities, church groups, club meetings, and retirement communities.
